In the accompanying photo, Leo Camarillo’s huge championship trophy was properly christened with “bubbly” moments after the California cowboy won the Grand National all-around title in 1974 at the Cow Palace near San Francisco. Performing the honors with the bubbly in the photo is Lex Connelly, the Grand National General Manager. Connelly was the 1954 steer wrestling Grand National Champion.Pro Rodeo
