Views We Can’t Get Enough of: 7 Epic Photos of Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is the most-photographed national park in the world. A protected landscape since 1864, any visitors who travels to Yosemite will bask in its gorgeous waterfalls, sequoia trees and dramatic landscapes with deep valleys and towering clean, granite walls. Yosemite has a dense history and some of the most unique landscapes in the world. These photos capture some of the most breathtaking parts of the park.

Sunrise at Tunnel View by Nathan Lee

Nathan Lee is a digital creator from Kentucky, a Canon USA creator and FAA Certified Commercial Drone Pilot with over 600 hundred thousand followers on TikTok. This photo captured one of his favorite sunrises, “a wild morning, chasing the fog and light around the valley floor.” The fall conditions mean moody fog and soft light, the perfect recipe for a landscape photographer.

Humbling Moments Standing Over the Valley by Ryan Ditch

San Diego photographer Ryan Ditch snapped this otherworldly image as a hiker stands on the edge of the cliff looking down into the expansive valley below. Shadows crowd the cliff sides as a small bit of light breaks the dark in this view from Taft Point.

Storm by Carter Murphy

Outdoor and landscape photographer Carter Murphy was in the right place at the right time when lighting hit across the mountains in Yosemite. “This goes down as one of my most proud Yosemite captures thus far,” his post states. The view from Glacier Point showed a moody storm, pink lighting and dramatic sunset while the beautiful waterfall flows from the mountains with an incredible balancing of light and dark.

Charlotte Gibb is a nature photographer, teacher and author. A California native, she worked in graphic design for 15 years before fully pursuing her love of photography. This gorgeous photo captures Yosemite covered with snow, decorating a quiet peaceful landscape. Charlotte’s style represents capturing small scenes in big landscapes.

Yosemite in Fall by Vitor Rodrigues

Although fall is nearly gone in Yosemite, this beautiful photo illustrates just how gorgeous Yosemite can be when the leaves are changing. Travel and adventure photographer Vitor Rodrigues lives out of his travel trailer full-time and moves from place to place capturing the most perfect landscapes, spending most of his time taking photos in the desert or surrounded by mountains.

Yosemite National Park looks like a winter wonderland in this incredible photo of the sunset from Tunnel View by Elliot McGucken. Elliot is a Ph.D. holding physicist and landscape and nature photographer. He says in this photo he managed to capture the secret “golden ratio.”
